Peer Gynt in 60 minutes on 2 square meters: a breakneck journey

-a film on stage. IMG_6152

Forgotten is the lying and fussy mother, the drunken father and all those who surround him. Peer wants to get away from everything, get up in the world, and become Emperor!

This is a coproduction with the National Theatre of Norway, and opened September 6 2012 during the International Ibsen Festival. It is Peer Gynt for a young audience, performed on a very limited space, which intensifies both Peer´s story and the form in which it is told.

Suitable for teenagers and young adults

What the press say:

“Peer! is extraordinarily dynamic, fun and strong in it´s form”

Mariken Lauvstad, Barnebokkritikk

“With physical humor, precision and surplus 6 actors tell Peer Gynt´s story in 60 minutes. A fun interpretation of Ibsen with a form that has great appeal to a young audience.”

Ida Lou Larsen, Klassekampen
